Set-Top Boxes Potential Standards

On December 23, 2013, a voluntary agreement was announced between U.S. DOE, the pay-television industry and efficiency groups for non-regulatory energy-efficiency standards for pay-television. On December 31, 2013, DOE withdrew the notices for proposed test procedures for set-top boxes (STB) and proposed coverage determination for STB and small network equipment.
